ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN
The architectural team at Juniper Road Studios acknowledges that we must be far more than just a designer of buildings. We must be licensed professionals who provide important services that benefit both our clients and the general public. As such, our services include two interrelated but distinct operations. First is the planning and design of buildings and spaces. Second is the administration of construction contracts on behalf of our clients.
Design and planning involve more than mere aesthetics and organization of buildings.; it also ensures the life health and safety of all occupants by conforming to zoning and building codes, as well as safety requirements. Construction Administration means that we as architects are acting as an agent of our client in many different capacities throughout the project including assisting with negotiating construction bids and contracts and verifying the contractor constructs the building as designed.
INTERIOR DESIGN
Juniper Road Studios is a full-service design firm. We offer interior design services from conception to construction administration. We can help you plan your interiors project whether it is a stand alone endeavor or in conjunction with a full scope architectural project. We collaborate with builders and other design professionals to ensure that your space is well planned, well appointed, and well executed. We provide professional, architecturally accurate construction drawings, material selections and construction administration for a wide variety of market segments. We have experience in residential, corporate commercial, hospitality, multifamily dwellings, and industrial design.
Quality space planning facilitates the operational and physical requirements of a facility where ideas, images, philosophy and culture of the client take precedence. Adjacencies, work areas and “traffic” flow are combined and arranged to maximize efficiency in daily operations.
FURNITURE & DECORATING
We have a multi-faceted and dynamic team at Juniper Road Studios. We collaborate to ensure that every space we design is well appointed. Utilizing a wide variety of sources, we select furniture, décor and accessories that tell the story of our clients and their spaces. We strive to make the process as seamless as possible and offer purchasing and install services.
CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION
Every team member at Juniper Road Studios is knowledgeable with both the design and construction conventions. This allows us to be very involved in the building process. By doing so, we can ensure that construction is following the design intent laid out in our drawings; but more importantly we are able to greatly reduce the opportunity for costly errors. We commit to communicating effectively and problem solving efficiently to ensure that projects are finished on time and within budget, while delivering the environment our clients envisioned from the beginning.
ADA COMPLIANCE
We are trained and prepared to design facilities in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This act is a federal regulation requiring public facilities and companies with over 15 employees to meet its requirements or face possible litigation. The design team is prepared to identify those areas of required compliance and work with the client to initiate a program which keeps the facility in compliance. Additionally, our philosophy of design dictates that we strive for more than compliance. We create accessible, equitable spaces for a diverse range of users of any space.
CODE ANALYSIS
Juniper Road Studios architecture team is led by a licensed architect with extensive code review and analysis experience. While code review is an integral part of every project we take on, code review can be completed as a separate, independent endeavor. We provide detailed reports of International, regional and local codes that pertain to a specific property. This can give our clients a deeper understanding about the properties they are intending to improve when engaging in real estate transactions.
