Mindy completely redesigned the ugly, poorly shaped master bathroom. She moved walls and repurposed spaces. From an ugly, wasted space she created a beautiful, functional master bath. Custom, hand stained cabinets and shelving make every inch usable. The shower is a dream come true! But the best part was working with Mindy, who had plan A, B and C. And when that failed, she kept going with plans D, E, F. We loved working with Mindy and highly recommend her.

I had a great experience with Mindy. I have never used a designer before and didn't have a ton of money to spend on the design phase of our project. However, I really had no idea what to do with our bathroom remodel, and wanted the expertise of a designer. Mindy made me feel comfortable that she could work with a "Not to Exceed" budget, so that I was not worried about sticker shock of the end price. I would recommend working with her to anyone, whether the project be large or small. She was prompt and professional in her communication and the quality of work was on point. I worked with Mindy on not one but two renovations. First in a master bedroom and kitchen remodel then on the complete gut and remodel of a 1960s home. These are my thoughts:

- Mindy has a great personality and is fun to be around.

- Mindy doesn’t just lean toward one design aesthetic. She would have options for me, and I would see options she pulled for other clients who clearly had other design goals. She responds to her clients’ preferences.

- I felt I could be honest with Mindy. She didn’t get her feelings hurt in the event she showed me an option that I thought was terrible. That didn’t happen often, but I felt could be completely frank, which I valued.

- She understands her clients. I had/have small kids who ruin everything- you know the saying- you can’t have nice things! I’ve had other designers offer some beautiful but ridiculously impractical materials or pieces. As a mom herself, Mindy knows what looks great and will stand up to kids who seem to have a singular mission to mess up anything pretty in the house.

- Mindy gets bang for your buck. She mixes beautiful expensive materials with beautiful and amazingly inexpensive materials. Our bathroom had both almost $200/sf tile along with $1.75/sf tile. It looks seamless and got me much more for my money.
